The Design Lab at COhatch Gateway is an interactive venue in central Columbus that brings together The Ohio State University community and the broader central Ohio region to tackle big challenges, spark innovation, and foster collaborative creation. Situated within the dynamic COhatch Gateway coworking and office environment along High Street — near eateries, coffee shops, and just two blocks from the Ohio Union — the Design Lab offers a flexible, well-appointed space ideal for workshops, group meetings, team sprints, and creative sessions.

Professionals from Ohio State Professional and Continuing Education and the COhatch Gateway community manager support the Design Lab. Together, they offer:

Dining and catering
The Design Lab does not offer in-house catering, allowing guests the freedom to choose from nearby restaurants and caterers along High Street or elsewhere in Columbus. With a wide variety of local dining options within walking distance, event attendees can enjoy flexibility for meals and breaks. Guests are permitted to bring alcoholic beverages, subject to appropriate event policies.
